Who is Edna the Octopus?
The better question would be who isn't Edna the octopus?
Edna is a cute little octopus who represents the goodness in all of us; the goodness that we hide from society because we do not want to seem to vulnerable. Edna has 8 tentacles, 2 of which she uses to walk and the other 6 she uses to hug everybody who wants or needs a hug. Edna does not have a bad bone in her body. She loves the world and everybody in it, spending her free time helping anybody who needs it. The only negative trait about Edna is that she gives too much of herself to everybody and does not do enough for herself. Edna is just as special as everybody else and she should take care of herself better. Edna needs to learn to take care of herself as well as her friends. This is a lesson that other people in the world struggle with as well. Giving too much of yourself is almost as bad as not doing enough for others. In life we should have a happy balance where we do nice things for everybody including ourselves.

Character Profiles Part 3. Who is Squeedo the Squid?
Who is Squeedo the Squid?
Squeedo is a tough acting little squid that believes you have to always act cool for people to like you. He is a little insecure in the fact that he doesn't realize that his friends like him for him and not for the way that he acts. In reality Squeedo isn't very tough at all. In fact, inside he is quite the opposite. He is afraid that the animals wouldn't like the squid that he really is. The sad part is that they do and he would enjoy his day a lot better if he learned this simple lesson. All of the Antarctic friends are helping Squeedo to realize this which should serve as a lesson to all boys and girls out there that it is important to be yourself, because being yourself is always the coolest way to be.

Character Profiles Part 2. Who is Preston the Polar Bear?
Who is Preston the Polar Bear?
Preston is an easy going polar bear from Canada that doesnt get too excited about much except for one thing. Global Warming. He knows that Global warming is causing his fellow polar bears to run out of ice which means that pretty soon they will have nowhere to live. Because of this Preston is an advocate of preventing pollution and living Green. Preston will preach to anybody who will listen to the importance of reducing, reusing and of course recycling. An example of reducing would be not to let the water run when you are brushing your teeth. Preston understands that if we minimize the amount of energy and resources that we waste, recycle everything that we can and use products over and over gain when we can, then we can really make a difference in the world. Preston believes that it it is time to save the planet, and we can if we follow those three easy steps known as the three R's. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
Preston believes that we can fight Global Warming by being Green and we can do this one animal at a time. :)
