The Annex bookstore

Last night at The Annex bookstore was an amazing success. Joey the Penguin was read to mostly adults for the first time ever but they were very interested and were extremely supportive. Joey was alongside of some very gifted authors, editors and business owners. If you live in the Halifax area in Nova Scotia, then I strongly recommend that you check out "The Annex" bookstore in Tantallon. The energy in the building will put you at ease and make you feel right at home while you are browsing the excellent selection of fine books and other products. The best part of this bookstore is the huge support for local authors and artisans. Buy a book, grab a coffee and say hi to Carolyn the nicest soul you will ever meet. Tell her that Joey says hi!

Joey the Penguin will have a booth at the Family Expo at Exhibition park in Halifax Nova Scotia on June 19, 20, 2010!!! That is only 2 days away. We wil be selling books and t-shirts and giving away stickers, bookmarks and balloons on a stick.
